It is 16th January, 2013… I just created this blog few days ago and was waiting until I get a free time to start with a useful blog post on some technology/software development related discipline. When I was hanging out, suddenly, I remembered the date of 16th January, which was one of the most enjoyable days I have ever had in my life. So, I just thought of kicking my blog off writing something about that recalling the good old day rather than waiting until I get a free time to write a technology related post…

It was 16th January, 2007, one of the most important days in my life, when I could get through one of the prestigious Sun Certification on Java Web Technologies, namely Sun-Certified Web Component Developer (SCWCD). After reading Kathy’s & Bert’s wonderful book namely Head First Servlets & JSPs over 3 months in order to fill the gaps in my knowledge, I did the online exam and passed with 92% marks. It was an awesome feeling to recall as I was kind of a kid to Java Web World then. I still remember the forum post I kept at Javaranch to share my joy with the peers there.

Time has gone pretty fast and it has been 6 years since then. By the time I was doing the exam, it was all about Servlet 2.4 and JSP 2.0 specs. By now, Serlvet 3.0 and JSP 2.2 specs have already been released and widely adopted! It was a pleasure to recall this milestone which brings me a flashback on to my mind on Servlets, JSPs, EJBs, JSFs evolution & surely their revolutions. :)

See you with another snapshot! :)
